Garza County is a county located in the state of Texas. As of 2000, the population is 4,872. Its county seat is Post. Garza is named for a pioneer Bexar County family, as it was once a part of that county.

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 2,321 km² (896 mi²). 2,319 km² (896 mi²) of it is land and 2 km² (1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.07% water.
