McIntosh County is a county located in the state of North Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 3,390. Its county seat is Ashley.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 2,577 km² (995 mi²). 2,526 km² (975 mi²) of it is land and 51 km² (20 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.99% water.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there are 3,390 people, 1,467 households, and 975 families residing in the county. The population density is 1/km² (4/mi²). There are 1,853 housing units at an average density of 1/km² (2/mi²). The racial makeup of the county is 98.88% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.09% from other races, and 0.56% from two or more races. 0.83% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
