Bowman County is a county located in the state of North Dakota. As of 2000, the population is 3,242. Its county seat is Bowman.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 3,022 km² (1,167 mi²). 3,010 km² (1,162 mi²) of it is land and 13 km² (5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.42% water.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there are 3,242 people, 1,358 households, and 890 families residing in the county. The population density is 1/km² (3/mi²). There are 1,596 housing units at an average density of 1/km² (1/mi²).
