Perkins County is a county located in the state of Nebraska. As of 2000, the population is 3,200. Its county seat is Grant.

As of the census of 2000, there are 3,200 people, 1,275 households, and 893 families residing in the county. The population density is 1/km² (4/mi²). The racial makeup of the county is 97.69% White, 0.03% Black or African American, 0.28% Native American, 0.22% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.34% from other races, and 0.44% from two or more races. 2.31% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
