How many hits should a pregnant woman feel a day?

As mentioned above, each baby is unique, having a pattern of activity and sleep. Thus, there is no right number of hits that a pregnant woman must feel every day.

However, each baby has a certain pattern, that you may know from the moment you start to feel their movements.

Note the frequency of hits the baby of hours most active of the day, for a few weeks.

This pattern is very similar in the remainder of the pregnancy.

If your baby moves little, but always according to the pattern which revealed since he began to feel his movements, so you don’t have to worry about.

However, if you’ve noticed any changes in the pattern of movement, and began to feel that your baby moves less, then you should consult your obstetrician as soon as possible.

What to do if you do not feel your baby move

Sometimes, it can happen at some point the baby is out of your normal pattern, leaving the woman concerned.

In these cases, there are several things you can do to stimulate the movement of the baby, and thus, stay more comfortable.

Check out below some tips to make your baby moving:

  • make unexpected sounds or loud music;
  • lie on your side with a pillow under the belly, and keep that position some time;
  • drink something very cold, since the temperature change may cause the baby to try to change the heading to “escape” the cold;
  • eat a piece of chocolate, because it will give an energy boost to the baby, causing it to move, usually after half an hour.

If none of these tricks works, you should immediately apply to the hospital, because something might be wrong with your baby.
