Comanche County (standard abbreviation: CM) is a county located in the state of Kansas. As of 2000, the population is 1,967. The county seat is at Coldwater.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 2,045 km² (790 mi²). 2,042 km² (788 mi²) of it is land and 4 km² (1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.18% water.
